1st day Arrive in Cima Grappa. Visit the Ossario and the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery. Lunch at a local typical restaurant. To reach it, you can walk through a beautiful path featuring the panoramic views of Monte Grappa. Transfer to Bassano del Grappa, check-in at the hotel and walk along Viale dei Martiri, scenery of the WWII resistance, followed by a walk through the historical center, past the famous Ponte degli Alpini, the symbol of the city, designed by Andrea Palladio. Guided tour through the Museum of Grappa Poli with grappa tasting. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
2nd day After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Asiago and visit the Sacrario del Leiten (Military Memorial), a monument honouring the fallen soldiers during the Great War 1915-1918, where 19,999 Austro-Hungarian soldiers and 34,286 Italian soldiers were killed. Visit the historical center of Asiago and time for shopping. Lunch at a typical, local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to a local cheese factory featuring local products, such as the famous cheese of Asiago. Finally, transfer to Roana and visit the Great War Museum, located at the building of the former railway station of Società Veneta Railways, acquired by the municipality.
Minimum number of participants: 8 people.
